Blessing in Disguise

Well, I have completed two weeks of unemployment. While I would prefer to be working (not just for the sake of working) I can say it has been great to have this break. I was talking to my oldest son today and realized I hadn't had this long of a break since college. Of course I have a lot of things I could do with the savings that we are burning through but I have had more time to spend with my wife and kids and more time to relax and have time to myself. I went to the elementary school twice today and once last night. That probably equals the whole year (not counting just picking up and dropping off). So, even though it is mentally a stressful time, I am trying to realize the good of this break from work. I have a couple of promising prospects so my time off may be drawing to a close, which is good. Good night everyone.
